Cryopen technology uses a controlled flow of nitrous oxide (N2O) , gas to create a precise and extremely cold, freezing temperatre.  Nitrous oxide works at -89°C which is as cold as you can get without damage. When the lesion is frozen, the water inside its cells turns into ice crystals, destroying the cell.

This treatment does not require any cutting of the skin or any anaesthetic. You will feel a cold sensation whilst the treatment takes place and only mild discomfort.
